°Õ³ó±ðÌý is one of the key components of the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Imperial BRC’s translational pipeline, initiating ‘pull-through’ of discovery science from our Faculties of Medicine, Natural Sciences and Engineering.

Although this year we were unable to physically showcase our translational medicine outputs, this crucial scheme was launched online to continue supporting innovative ideas with clinical potential.

ICiC 2020 will support researchers from across the Imperial Academic Health Sciences Centre by providing pilot funding to assess a novel concept that will ultimately translate into novel therapeutics, devices and diagnostics, in preparation for clinical testing. This year, in addition to core funding from MRC, the scheme is supported by À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Imperial BRC, EPSRC, Rosetrees Trust, The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Fund and Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund.

We strongly encourage multi-disciplinary proposals and those including external collaborations – particularly with the Royal Marsden Hospital and our commercial partners AstraZeneca and Yuhan, as well as the Francis Crick Institute or MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences.
