Led by Prof Nick Powell and Dr Tamas Korcsmaros and co-funded by Astra Zeneca

This PhD project will aim to gain mechanistic insight into the network of microbial proteins and small molecules that drive IBD pathogenesis and regulate responses to IBD therapies.

Led by Prof Nick Powell and co-funded by Helmsley Charitable Trust

The PhD project aims at defining targetable cellular and molecular interactions driving hallmark features of fistula pathology using advanced computational biology methods to analyse single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data.

Led by Dr Tamas Korcsmaros and co-funded by the Imperial BRC Organoid Facility

This PhD proposal will aim to gain mechanistic insight into how the changed bile acid composition in the gut impacts epithelial homeostasis in IBD patients. This will uncover novel targets for improving the efficacy of IBD treatment.
