Led by Professor Waljit Dhillo, an 蓝莓视频 Professor and Dean of the 蓝莓视频 Academy, the 蓝莓视频 Imperial BRC training programme operates in partnership with our AHSC. We have has developed a comprehensive, high-quality training infrastructure across all stages of clinical academic training. We are developing innovative new programmes to support capacity development in informatics and equality in research and in non-medical professions such as dietetics, radiography and nursing.
To support non-medical clinicians, and in partnership with , the BRC co-funds . The pre-doctoral fellowships provide NMAHPPs with the opportunity to undertake research for one year, in order to apply for an externally-funded PhD, while post-doctoral fellowships provide essential bridge funding for PhD-trained fellows to continue developing their independent research careers and leadership roles.
In partnership with the MRC, our聽聽scheme trains the next generation of clinician-scientists, giving medical graduates an opportunity to take a 3-year PhD in one of our world-leading basic science groups at the MRC Clinical Science Centre. 2019 marked the 10 year anniversary of the Chain-Florey scheme, celebrated with the annual workshop, which you can聽. Our BRC supports skills and development workshops through CATO, providing advice on research career options and an opportunity to share research and build networks, plus online courses to ensure an AHSC-wide culture of research training for all our staff. We also support mentorship and peer-support groups to provide support for early-career researchers in developing their research ideas and leadership careers.
